Team Leader Configuration and Manufacturing Engineering

  • Your responsibilities

    • Ensure that Prototypes configuration is always maintained, updated and conform to design data
    • Ensure the proper paper is available to perform job on prototype in support to the maintenance tam
    • Ensure tracking of the prototype configuration to ensure compliance with the requirements established by the CPE or identify deviations
    • Prepare the work orders and assist the maintenance team in the definition of the tasks to perform at aircraft level based on applicable technical documents
    • Generate the applicable reporting towards the CPE relevant to defects/failures that occur on the experimental aircraft fleet and ensure they are managed according to the instructions provided by the relevant CPE
    • Generate the configuration report to be presented to the authorities for every new PTFs
    • Support the Design Organization in defining key design requirements having an impact on the product maintainability
    • Act has a DO Certifying Staff and certify/declare the conformity of the prototype with the approved design documentation and flight conditions
    • Maintain the configuration of the prototypes based on released design data
    • Maintain record of flight and RTT hours in SAP based on ATL book
    • Maintain record of serialized parts installed on prototypes
    • Coordinate with the Prototype maintenance lead to introduce new modification on prototype based on CPE request.
    • Ensure that procedures and policies are established and implemented
    • Collaborate with EASA/FOCA to achieve the required approvals
  • Your qualifications


    • Hold a degree in engineering discipline
    • Min. 5 years of relevant professional experience in the civil aviation industry
    • Intercultural competence (effectively works with diverse others suppliers/customers)
    • Knowledge about SAP MM & PP, PLM Teamcenter or equivalent, Configuration Management
    • Knowledge about FOCA and EASA regulations
    • Knowledge about helicopter systems
    • Knowledge about the quality notification process and DO-PO Agreement
    • Proven leadership skills, act as a role model
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-national team and in particular in a white and blue collar environment
    • Familiar with EASA requirements and standards (i.e. PART-21J/G, PART-M, CS27, AC27 etc.)
    • Advanced English language skills, minimum level C1
    • Flexibility to be deployed with short term notice, and willingness to live abroad for short to long periods (< 6 months to > 1 year)
