Team Leader – Avionics System Ref. Code 50007298

  • Your responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning and coordination of all tasks related to avionics systems development within the team
    • Leading an Engineering Team with ca 5 people
    • Providing guidance and support to a team of engineering professionals
    • Developing and performing technical planning and providing airworthiness verification support for avionics systems projects
    • Advising on how to resolve technical problems that would affect cost, schedule and avionics system performance
    • Coordination of corrosion, aging, tribology and abrasion tests with external and internal test laboratories
    • Working closely with leadership functions in engineering (Head of Departments) and other subject matter experts for the review and approval of engineering design solutions
    • Providing technical leadership across the multi-disciplinary team
    • Supporting the development of technical and product roadmaps
    • Providing mentorship for technical staff
    • Facilitating the continuous improvement of a rapid-turn design-to-specification process
  • Your qualifications

    • Hold a university degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent
    • Relevant engineering experience with avionics systems development and electronic Hardware & Software qualification
    • Further you have knowledge in bonding technologies (adhesives, sealants etc.) used within the aviation industry
    • Knowledge of aircraft integration standards and certification process
    • Good English language skills, both verbal and in writing, a working knowledge of German language will be an advantage
    • Proven Leadership and management skills
    • Good team player skills, self-driven attitude and the ability to work to fixed deadlines
