Analysis Engineer - Stress and Fatigue (Composite Structures – Airframe)

  • Your responsibilities

    • Analysis, development and optimization of new composite structures and assemblies by means of FEM and hand calculations.
    • Documentation of certification relevant analyses for static, fatigue and damage tolerant substantiation.
    • Validation of finite element analysis.
    • Definition of prototype and certification tests.
    • Task management and planning of calculation activities for sub-systems of the helicopter.
    • Time-effective coordination of static and fatigue substantiation activities with other departments (Testing, Flight physics, Materials and processes) and as well as externals partners.
    • Proactive and autonomous development of creative solutions to challenging technical problems.
    • Ensure information flow, responsible for cross-information and information in team

  • Your qualifications

    • Master Degree (ETH/TU) in the field of aerospace, mechanical, structural engineering or similar
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in static and fatigue analysis in Aerospace or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Rotorcraft experience is preferred. In particular significant experience with helicopter structures is highly preferred.
    • FEM experience in the simulation of large assemblies ideally composite structures.
    • Profound knowledge of Hypermesh is of advantage.
    • Knowledge of NX is of advantage.
    • Good English knowledge (spoken and written).
    • German knowledge is of advantage.
    • Ability to plan, manage and lead projects.
    • Ability to encourage and motivate a coworkers.
    • Team spirit and motivation.
