Aerospace Engineer Composites

  • Your responsibilities

    • Preparation of and collaboration on material and process specifications
    • Release of materials and process specifications
    • Assessment of external production processes of composite materials
    • Close collaboration with stress and design department to align material applications
    • Maintenance of material data bank GRANTA
    • Support for subject specific topics (i.e. material selection, material testing etc.)
    • Planning, performing and analysing tests performed internally as well as at external suppliers
    • Support as SME during audits and calls on customers
    • Support the engineering department in the selection of material
    • Provide material data for the analysis
    • Organising and releasing of guidelines for production and for quality assurance for material processes
    • Is in charge to release relevant quality management system documents based on definition per kind of document
    • Have signature approval in accordance with kopter – business standard “10012992 – kopter – Signatory Rights & Responsibility”
    • Have a common knowledge about quality management system (QMS)
  • Your qualifications

    • Degree in engineering discipline
    • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and in writing
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional aerospace experience
    • Proven knowledge of composite material processes
    • Professional experience in material characteristics
    • Knowledge of EASA Part-21 J & G
    • Proven knowledge of change process within DO – PO
    • Knowledge of SAP
    • Excellent team player skills, self-driven attitude and the ability to work to fixed deadlines with a flair of coordination
